Scott Smith is the Founder and former CEO of Qualtrics, a global platform and leader in customer experience and insights management.

Scott received his PhD in Marketing from Penn State University. Scott is a Professor Emeritus, Marriott School of Management, Brigham Young University. Qualtrics began as an extension of Scott’s marketing background, research and interests. In 1997, with his sons Ryan and Jared Smith, and Stuart Orgill, Qualtrics was born as a boot strap start-up in his basement. Currently, more than 8,500 enterprises worldwide, including two-thirds of the Fortune 100 and 99 of the top 100 business schools, rely on Qualtrics technology.
Also on the Talentegy Board of Directors are co-founders Stephanie Ralston, EVP of Operations & Customer Success and Corporate Treasurer, and Shawna Berthold, EVP of Marketing & Operations and Corporate Secretary.
